How to make the perfect Chai Tea Latte

How to make the perfect Chai Tea Latte

If there is one thing that can get me out of bed in the morning it’s a latte. And as much as I love coffee sometimes it does not agree with me and that’s when I turn to matcha or tea. As of lately, I have been absolutely loving chai tea lattes.

It gives me enough energy to face the workday, but it has also been nice as an afternoon treat after a draining day. The truth is that drinking chai tea makes any moment pleasant and it’s partly due to the multiplicity of ingredients that gives chai tea its unique and irresistible flavor.

However, I didn’t even explain the best part yet. As I mentioned, chai tea is composed of various ingredients and they all have amazing health benefits. The basics are black tea, cardamom, ginger, clove, black pepper, and nutmeg. I want to highlight some of these ingredients to show you the immense healing properties in just one latte.

Ginger

  • Aids in digestion
  • Boosts immunity

Cinnamon

Now I want to share with you my simple Chai Tea Oat Milk Latte that can be made at home in that matter of minutes and then enjoyed in the coziness of your bed (or at least that’s where you will find me). What you will need:

Bring 8 oz of water to a boil. Steep the chai tea in the water of 3-5 minutes. Warm with oat milk and whisk with a hand frother. Combine the water and milk and froth again. Top with cinnamon or nutmeg.
