Matcha Spirulina Shamrock Shake

During a time that feels so heavy, I think it is important, now more than ever, to look for the light in even the smallest of things. Warm hugs on bad days, giant mugs of matcha, the morning sunrise, or the evening sunset. There is so much to be grateful for.

This week is St. Patricks Day, and even if you don’t normally celebrate it, do it anyways! What is there to lose? Wear some green, make some corned beef, reflect on past holidays, or even enjoy this matcha spirulina shamrock shake!


Did you know matcha is actually extremely beneficial for your immune health? It fortifies your immune system and limits the invasion and growth of viruses and bacteria in the body. The special catechin antioxidant called ECGg is effective in fighting and protecting the body against various bacterial and viral infections.

Matcha also provides a stable and extended boost of energy without the anxious jitters or side effects that usually occur with coffee and energy drinks.


Whatever you do today, do it without the stress and without the hurry. Stress negatively affects your immune system. So, take a minute to stop. Breath. Recipe:
1⁄2 frozen banana
1⁄2 cup frozen papaya
1 cup frozen cauliflower
1⁄2 cup frozen cucumber
1 scoop chocolate protein
1 tsp spirulina powder (optional but more health benefits + green color)
1 tsp @soireetea matcha powder
1⁄2 tsp peppermint extract
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 1⁄2 cup nut milk


Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until you get a thick, shake
consistency! Top with coconut yogurt and more cacao nibs! Enjoy!
